Lura Kirschner, Veterinary Technician

I have worked at Cedar Creek Veterinary Hospital for 2 ½ years. Working here has given me the opportunity to see what quality care is about. I have always wanted to work with animals since I was little.

This is not just a job for me, I am truly passionate about what I do at Cedar Creek Veterinary Hospital. In fact, I have adopted 3 dogs from a shelter, and I would like to adopt more.

Inderjit K. Marjara, DVM

Born and raised in the equatorial country of Kenya.  As a Veterinarian since 1990 I have been amazed at the resilience and adaptability of Pets worldwide, this has fueled my passion for theprofession.

Following my Masters degree in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery, I gained invaluable experience with wild animals as a Research Scientist at the Institute of Primate Research in Kenya.

After moving to the United States in 1994 I have lived in Illinois and Minnesota, needless to say warmer weather and cultural needs have brought us home to Kansas City.

I have been blessed with a fifteen year old son and a loving husband. We enjoy living in the close knit community of Lee's Summit where we hope to continue being productive citizens.  I have been a National Champion in Folk Dancing, my current interests include my pets, swimming, literature, travel and tennis.

Anita Brake, Practice Manager

I have been with Cedar Creek Veterinary Hospital for 12 years. I really enjoy the diversity of cases that come through our hospital. Pets are very important to us.

I am blessed with a wonderful male Bengal cat and a female Miniature Poodle. Both are extremely spoiled.

Tami Heimsoth, Veterinary Technician

I have been a veterinary technician and a member of the Cedar Creek Veterinary Hospital family for 11 years now. I look forward to every exciting day. We have grown together and I have learned all the modern techniques of medicine.

I have made great friends with clients and their pets over the years. I treat every pet like my own, because I have four pets of my own and love them dearly.
